How do I apply?

The first step of the adoption process is as easy as filling out the adoption application form. Once your application is received, our adoptions team will review and will reach out via email to discuss the adoption process.

Please remember that we are an all volunteer-run organization, so it may take us more than a day or two - but we promise we'll be in touch within 5-7 to days- often sooner!

What's Next?

Once you apply to adopt, we will perform reference checks, then reach out to schedule a home visit. We thank you for your understanding as we work very hard to move forward with this process as quickly as possible.

Are there any adoption requirements?

At this time we can only adopt to MA, NH and CT residents that are at least 18 years of age.

How to avoid picking the wrong pet?

Our goal is to match these animals with a home that fits their temperament, size and breed, energy level, and any restrictions each animal may have. Each animal is an individual case and some have special circumstances. For example, one dog may require going to a home with a fully fenced-in yard or another dog may require experience with that particular breed.
