Meet Eleanor!
Eleanor is an 8 year old domestic short hair gal. She is approximately 15 pounds.
- Age: 8 years
- Breed: Domestic Short Hair
- Weight: Approximately 15 lbs
- Health: She doesn't have all of her teeth. A nasty infection hit her pretty fast and we had to remove some of them. But this girl has her appetite back and is 100% healed.
- Diet: She also has some kidney issues, but we got that worked out. She has been stable, despite despising her prescription food and tricking her fosters into thinking she would eat it. Nope. Not for this girl.
- Good with cats: Eleanor is a lady who commands herself as the queen of the house. She does everything her way, and that's it.
- Good with dogs: But what's great about her, is that she can be a wonderful companion. She's not a fan of sharing her home with other cats, but would likely do okay with a dog in the home if they left her alone.
- Quirks: This girl has gone through a lot of changes in her short life, and while she's handled them with grace, it does make her question who she can trust- she will hide if she is nervous. But once you're in her good graces, she will happily join you on the couch to watch your favorite show.
Personality and ideal home
- Temperament: Eleanor has gotten all of her medical ailments fixed/stabilized and is now looking for her forever home. She deserves a home where she can be herself, that isn't too busy, and with a Mom or Dad who will enjoy her company as the main fur pal in the home.
- Companionship: Forms deep bonds once trust is earned
- Environment: Thrives in a calm, low, traffic home
- Furry roommates: Best as the only cat; respectful dogs may be fine
- Routine: Benefits from stability, patience, and gentle reassurance
