About Soleil
☀️ Hi! I’m Soleil!!! ☀️
Yep… my name means “Sun” in French, and I’d like to think I live up to it. Once you get to know me, I have a pretty special way of brightening every room I walk into.
I’m about 6 months old, weigh around 35 pounds, and I’m currently accepting applications for my forever family. (It’s a very exclusive position, so I have high standards… okay, not really. If you have treats, you’re already doing great.)
When I first came into rescue, I wasn’t so sure about this whole “world” thing. New places and new people felt a little scary. But guess what? I’ve figured out that life is actually pretty amazing! Every day I get a little braver, a little sillier, and a whole lot happier.
These days you’ll usually find me…
🐾 Playing with my dog friends.
🧸 Collecting toys like they’re priceless treasures.
🥰 Handing out snuggles whenever someone has a free lap.
🍖 Politely accepting treats. (Okay… enthusiastically accepting treats.)
☀️ Soaking up sunshine whenever I can.
I’m a social butterfly! I love dogs, people, kids… honestly, if you’re kind to me, we’re probably going to be best friends.
I’m also becoming quite the responsible young lady. I’m almost a crate expert—sometimes I even walk right in all by myself! I’m mostly potty trained too… although if it’s raining outside, I might look at you like, “Are you absolutely sure this is necessary?” I mean… can you blame a girl for not wanting wet paws?
My foster family says I’m eager to please and that I just want someone to love. They’re right. I don’t ask for much. A comfy bed, a few toys, some belly rubs, and a family to call my own would make me the happiest pup in the world.
Oh… one tiny confession…
If you accidentally leave food trash where I can reach it… I may assume you left me a surprise snack. I consider it helping with cleanup. You’re welcome.
I’ve come such a long way since arriving in rescue, and I’m so proud of the confident, goofy, loving girl I’m becoming. Now all I need is someone to keep cheering me on while I continue to grow.
