Winnie

Meet Winnie!! Meet Winnie, short for Winnifred (after Hocus Pocus 🎃). Here is what her foster says:

Winnie is a 5-6 month old Pitbull mix that was abandoned in a cane-field with her two sisters, Sarah and Mary. We think they were dumped and used as bait dogs due to their scars. Winnie is the sweetest teddy bear I have ever fostered. She is so grateful for the love she gets, all she wants to do is follow you around and love you. She has no food aggression (she eats with her two sisters out of the same bowl). She sleeps in a kennel with her sisters and they are very good about not pottying in the kennel if you take them out before bedtime. She knows she has to potty in the morning before she eats. She is finding her voice so she lets you know where she is at. She is very laid back, she loves to snuggle, sleep in the sun and sit in your lap. She is a big girl but thinks she is a lap dog. I can’t think of a better fur baby to adopt. She will give you unconditional love and doesn’t want much in return, just treats and kisses. She does like to steal socks, shoes and clothes so beware- basic puppy training will help with this as she’s just learning her new world. I can’t say enough amazing things about her. She loves people, other dogs and not phased by cats. Just an all around amazing puppy.”
