Reintroducing Dash! He is a 4.5 year old pittie mix who weighs around 60 pounds. He is back with the rescue due to absolutely no fault of his own. Here is what his foster mom says:

You may remember Dash.. he’s a pretty handsome, popular guy. He was adopted in Spring 2022 & has been absolutely thriving. Unfortunately, his owner/best friend recently passed away and so Dash is back with the rescue. Dash bas been getting extra love in his foster home the past few months & is now ready to find a new home!

Dash is a 4-year-old pit bull mix who was originally rescued off the euthanasia list in Houston Texas. He’s come a very long way since then! Dash is a very confident dude & would love to brag a bit about himself:

– LOVES his people. Wants to cuddle you, play with you, go on walks with you, and just genuinely always be by your side. He is LOYAL to his people.

– Dash loves playing with other dogs. He will need some slow intros, as he’s an energetic & strong guy. But once he gets to know his furriends, it’s game on! He does want to note that he’s pretty high energy, so he does best with dogs who can match that.

– Very well-trained. Dash LOVES to learn! He is crate & house trained. He knows place, crate, sit, down, stay, come, paw/shake, spin, & kiss! Dash is also trained with a prong collar and slip lead.

– BIG TOY GUY!! Dash LOVES TO PLAY. He has lots of toys & loves playing with his people. He prefers to keep toys to himself & just play with other dogs with no toys around.

– No cats! Dash has decided that he is just one of those guys that does NOT like cats!!

– Dash is a thick, strong dude. He needs a home with no small/young children. They make him anxious & will also accidently knock them down.

– He doesn’t like crowds!! Dash continues to get better with this, but his new home should be on the more low-key side. He’d rather have more 1on1 time with his people & meet new people slowly without too much chaos.

Dash has been living in a home with his foster mom and dad and two fur-sisters. He thrives with routine and structure. He would love a home where he has a fenced in backyard for the zoomies or where he’ll get lots of exercise! He of course still loves to be a big cuddle bug at the end of the day. Dash is super loved by everyone he’s met & we’re all just looking forward to finding his next best home that he so much deserves.
