Meet Suri! She is a 7 month old pittie mix (maybe some patterdale mixed in). Her story is heartbreaking. A fellow rescue advocate saw her outside in a rain storm in her wire crate. Her crate was mixed with urine, stool, and rain water. No food or water in her dish. After speaking with the “owner” (used loosely based on how she was being kept)… they stated they didn’t want her, and to take her. Well that’s exactly what she did! Neighbors helped rinse her off and she got her out of there.

Suri has been in foster since being given away, and she is amazing! Here is her foster mom’s bio for her:

“I’m Suri. I’m a 7-mo-old female Pittie weighing 25-30 lbs. I’m a little on the small side, but I have a big personality. My story is a little sad. I was being kept outside in crate 24/7 in horrid conditions with no toys, no love and no one to play with me until this lady found me and took me in. She showed me what love was and gave me lots of toys to play with. I ❤️❤️❤️ squeaky toys and yellow tennis balls. I love to chase balls. Good thing, because I have lots of puppy energy. I also love treats and will sit beautifully for them. My FM says I am the most beautiful little girl with my beautiful black coat and really amazing ears. But she doesn’t like that I tend to shred my bedding but she said it’s because I’m just bored and need more activity. So I’m hoping my forever family is an active family and has a big fenced in yard for me to run and play- with tennis balls of course!! And it would be great if they have a fur sibling for me to play with, because I like other dogs. And I’m people friendly too. I’m not sure about cats though, because I’ve never been around cats. Oh, and I walk pretty good on a leash too.”
