Rudy (Pending Adoption)

Meet Rudy! Is approximately 5 years old and a neutered beagle. Here is what he has to say:

“Hi my name is Rudy and I’m estimated at 5 to 7 years old, they are guessing I’m closer to 5 years old. I am a neutered male Beagle saved from a high kill shelter and then ended up in a bad situation that didn’t take care of me before being rescued yet again but life is looking great now! I was initially heart worm positive but I had my 3 injections to treat this and they were completed in April. I had a dental last week to make my teeth pearly white, no extractions were needed which I was greatful for! I am a spoiled well behaved boy, read more to find out!

I live in a house with another Beagle and an Australian Cattle dog and I am looking for my FUR-ever home.

Let me tell you about my typical day!
In the morning, I love laying at my foster parents’ feet and keep their toes warm while they’re working. I am very quiet while they are on conference calls (I’m such a good boy!). Mid morning, I love to sunbathe on the grass and face the sun. In the afternoon, I provide security alarm services and My lovely singing voice lets my foster parents know when we get Amazon and Chewy packages – otherwise I dont have much say but I do love to greet the delivery guy- he has cookies. At night, I love to curl up against my foster parents with a fluffy blanket. I do go to sleep in my own bed and blankets when my parents tell me to go to my “room” (crate).

On weekends, I love going to dog bars. I get to meet all of my friends big and small. I get along with EVERYONE!!! My foster parents also take me hiking with the cattle dog (6 miles+) and if I get too tired, I go inside a hiking backpack. I love when I being carried like a baby. I might be a bit spoiled!

I have met a small human (2 year old) and he was too much energy for me. I would stay in my room until he went down for a nap. I do much better with medium humans (5-10 years old). Especially when we go on walks around the neighborhood, I love to meet everyone! Are you my FUR-ever home? If so please continue to spoil me with hikes, social events and lots of snuggles and time to lay in the sun!”
