Meet Roscoe!! He is approximately a year old, and we think a husky/catahoula mix. He weighs 54 pounds. Here is what his foster says:

“Roscoe is an affectionate pup. He LOVES toys especially balls, is potty-trained but may need to get used to a new place. He isn’t in his crate much but when he is, he is quiet. He is people-friendly and dog-friendly – has been to day care and has done well.

He is extremely food motivated, and is quick to learn. He knows “Sit” and we are working on other basic commands.

He is a young dog that needs activity. When he is in his pen for long hours, he can tear up his bed if he is bored. 5-10 minutes of playing “fetch” with him every now and then works wonders. When outside the pen, he is happy to just lay on the couch or play with his toys.

His ideal family would be a relatively active family with no little kids, just because he is a bigger active dog. He has not been cat-tested.

It is recommended that he is fed separately, he can get possessive of his food and sometimes toys with other dogs, never been aggressive but lets them know that they are his.“
