Meet Josey!! This girl with the prettiest eyes is approximately two years old. She is a husky mix, and weighs around 55 pounds. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and spayed!

Josey is coming to us from our Louisiana shelter partner. They are seeing unprecedented numbers of strays and surrenders. All of their fosters and kennels are full. They haven’t had to euthanize for space in years, but it’s a reality they are facing. We would love to help lessen their burden, but we cannot bring her to New England without a foster or adopter. Her life could end any day, and we trying so hard to prevent that from happening.

So what do you need to know about Josey? She is amazing!! This lady is so good with other dog pals, and absolutely adores people!! She may be a person in a dogs body because she truly loves to be social!! She is the perfect companion for going on a hike, playing in the yard, hanging with friends (and their dogs) and seeing what this world has to offer. She doesn’t need a dog pal to be happy, she just needs a person to call her own (a dog pal doesn’t hurt though!).
